I do not have an automated shopping system. There are several reasons this is so, not the least of which is my interest
in keeping your costs down by not paying overhead for the maintenance of such a system. Also, my experience has been that
such automated purchase systems encourage sight-unseen buying, which is against my "collector's philosophy".
Here is the procedure I suggest for shopping my website:
- Print out my on-line price-list, as it contains every
coin currently on my website and will also serve as a reference for comparison shopping.
Take the price-list around and see how other sellers compare.
I strongly encourage comparison shopping and recommend that you look for the best deal,
whether or not that turns out to be my coin. To me, it is far more important that you be happy with your
purchase than it is for me to turn a quick dollar. You will find that often, the biggest dealers with
the most hype and advertising don't offer the best value for your dollar. Ask questions!
- On the printed price-list, circle each of the coins which interests you. The prices are clearly marked,
and you may now compare my price to whatever is your favorite price guide. I attempt to describe the
coins fairly and in detail, so pay attention to my comments, and highlight anything that stands out to
you as being important.
- The most important aspect of buying coins is that you must appreciate and enjoy your purchase, hopefully
for years to come. So if something is unclear to you, or you want a visual "walk-through", or you just
simply want to try and negotiate a better price, send me an eMail with your questions. I will respond as quickly as possible.

- After you feel comfortable that the coin you've found fits your criteria, take the next step, which is concluding your purchase.
At this point, you should either send me an email or give me a phone call regarding your intent.
Remember that I will want to know:
- Your name and shipping address
- The catalog number(s) of the coins you want to purchase
- How you want to pay for the item(s)
- A phone number where I can reach you in case of a problem
- How you heard about me
- Most important of all, I appreciate your interest in my coins.
