Although a couple of moderate obverse abrasions limit the grade of this coin, it is nonetheless a remarkably attractive example of the type. Booming luster is very pronounced on both sides, and the reverse details is nearly pinpoint sharp, with the left ear of corn virtually full. The stars are nicely defined, as is all of the central obverse detail. Furthermore, it's surprising how original this coin is, considering how many high-grade coins have been dipped. The patina is 100% intact, with iridescent rose toning interplaying with classic nickel-bluehues.
