Liberty nickels are not well known for having many representatives that exhibit beautiful color or toning, but this coin is an exception. It is a vibrantly lustrous example with a nearly completely circular rainbow of vivid color on the obverse, and a reverse that displays a semi-circle of identically colored rainbow toning as well. A magnificent coin which, perhaps surprisingly, merits a technical MS-64 grade as well, as indicated on the NGC slab. Well struck, but not fully so, and with eye-appeal that is considerably above average, and make this coin a hands-down winner.
