Remarkably lustrous, with rings of both obverse and reverse toning that border on being full rainbows. This coin is oh-so-close to being AU-50 it isn't funny, and the eye-appeal probably could argue for the grade being given the boost, but when a coin is THIS nice, what do mere numbers really mean? To top it all off, this is the die-marriage whimsically known as the 'office boy reverse'. All the expected diagnostics are clearly defined, most importantly the laughably repunched D of UNITED, and the blatantly joined AM of AMERICA. A superlative example of an issue that is known in high grades, but seldom appears on the market in collector grades of such choice quality. Superlative in EVERY respect!
