The level of obverse detail leaves no doubt as to the extremely -fine grade of this early quarter, although the reverse is not nearly as nicely detailed due to strike (hence the split grade). Primarily charcoal grey in color, with sharply contrasting highlights across the stars, letters and detail highpoints. Amazingly free of any scratches or circulation marks of any kind, and 100% fully dentilated on both sides.
