Slightly dull from an old and rather unimportant soap-and-water cleaning, but the overall appearance is somewhat enhanced by good contrast between bone-grey surfaces and darker borders around the devices. Surprisingly, under a loupe, the appearance of the surfaces improves a little, with minimal scattered scratches, no apparent hairlines, and appealing texture.
