This is a fantastic example of a common overdate in the bust quarter series. Perfectly blemishless surfaces on both sides are characterized by smooth, even grey color and a very good strike. One might wish for a bit more contrast between the highpoint detail and the fields, but that is a subjective preference, and nobody can reasonably deny the excellent appeal of truly original surface quality as exemplified here. Possibly a bit better than my VF-25 grade.
