The eagle is fully 100% outlined on the reverse, though admittedly, the coin must be tilted to view some of the detail. Liberty's portrait is bold and nicely detailed for a coin with this much wear. A short, diagonal pinscratch appears right smack-dab in the center of Liberty's hair, yet the dark toning lessens its impact, and honestly, it doesn't really detract. Although obviously not an original coin, the surfaces are not unattractive, and are only a little glossy. Other than a slight rim bump near S13, the rims are in good shape, and except for the mentioned pinscratch, and a little surface dig near S14, the surface quality is pretty decent. Demand for 1794 half-dollars is unceasing by both type and series collectors, so even in such a low a grade, a coin like this is highly desirable.
