Difficult to grade, as usual, since the remaining mint luster actually implicates the AU level, though the usual mushy strike is responsible for deficient central portrait details. This is a delightfully pristine coin, with perhaps a single faint hairline or two, and no serious impact defects. Only an old scratch below the reverse motto can be called a detraction, but it does not harm the eye-appeal that much at all.
