Although not perfectly original, this is a high quality coin for the grade and date, as 1812s are seldom this nicely struck and preserved. A photogenic coin that nonetheless displays VERY faint evidence of hairlines and hazing atop surfaces that appear very original otherwise. With just a little better surface quality, this would be a strong AU coin.
